Margot Cohen MD MSEd is a physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Cohen is the Co-Director of the Internal Medicine Clerkship. She is a member of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Ethics Committee and the Section of Hospital Medicine Wellness Advisory Group. Dr. Cohen practices at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She joined the Section in 2017 and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include undergraduate and graduate medical education, medical student evaluation and feedback, medical ethics and communication.
Dr. Cohen earned her medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her Internal Medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital- Columbia University. Since joining the University of Pennsylvania, she has received a Master’s Degree of Education at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education with a focus on medical education.
