To honor her late sister's memory, Dr. Airan-Javia has recently founded CatherineGives.org. This new non-profit aims to forge city-wide digital collaboratives in partnership with community-based organizations. The initiative focuses on creating seamless transitions and enhanced coordination among groups treating complex diseases in marginalized populations. Through CatherineGives.org, Dr. Airan-Javia continues to channel her expertise into transforming healthcare landscapes for the most vulnerable. Concurrently, she maintains her clinical practice part-time at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and continues research into clinical documentation practices.
